This Solitary Sandpiper (Tringa solitaria) stayed at my local wetlands for about 4 hours.  It seemed to be finding

quite a bit to eat.

After that it took a bath and flew of to a bigger pond.

There was another Garter Snake nearby. This one would bob it's head up and down

Its spring gobbler season and they are strutting everywhere. Chasing hens from field to field near my neck of the woods

I've had a mix of  29 gobblers and hens at one time. They can be heard very early in the morning, and

throughout the day.

It's spring!
