Florida Scrub-Jay (Aphelocoma coerulescens), seen in the Ocala National Forest. There was a nesting pair, with
other Jays nearby. Nest was found with 4 eggs. Found while doing Scrub Jay count.

Several Scrub-Jays were encountered during my Scrub-Jay count in March of 2019, a nest was also found.
Many of the birds had leg bands on, but just as many did not.
It was a thrill to observe these birds for the first time.
